Job summary

Raffles Hotels & Resorts in Doha is seeking an Assistant Banquet Manager to lead corporate events, conferences, and social functions within our luxury hotels. You will collaborate with Banquets, F&B, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, and AV/IT to deliver flawless, high-end experiences.

The role requires 3–5 years in MICE or banquet operations within a luxury setting, with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in MICE operations, banquet operations, conference services, or event management within a luxury hotel environment.
• Experience coordinating with multiple hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution.
• Fluency in English and Arabic languages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and execution of meetings, conferences, exhibitions, incentive groups, and corporate events.
• Coordinate with Banquets, Food & Beverage, Culinary, Front Office, Housekeeping, and AV/IT teams for seamless event delivery.
• Prepare and review BEOs, function sheets, event schedules, and checklists.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate requirements to all departments.
• Supervise event setup, room layouts, AV requirements, signage and venue readiness.
• Monitor operations to ensure adherence to service standards and client specifications.
• Ensure health, safety, hygiene and security procedures during events.
• Manage last-minute changes and client requests efficiently.
• Coordinate group arrivals, accommodations, schedules, and transportation.
• Monitor F&B service delivery and event flow throughout each function.
• Conduct post-event reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.
