Job summary

voco Doha Central is seeking a Learning & Quality Assistant Manager to drive learning initiatives, uphold brand standards, and ensure exceptional guest experiences from day one. This pre-opening hotel focuses on contemporary style, hospitality, and guest-centric service in central Doha.

The role involves coordinating onboarding, mandatory trainings, quality audits, and continuous improvement projects across departments, with a focus on engagement and career growth for colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Learning & Development, Training, Quality, or Human Resources, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, guest experience standards, and quality management practices.
• Experience with learning management systems and training administration is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to influence and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Leading the execution of the hotel's learning and development strategy.
• Coordinating onboarding, departmental training, and mandatory compliance programs.
• Supporting colleagues and leaders in identifying development opportunities and career growth plans.
• Monitoring training completion and maintaining accurate learning records.
• Conducting quality audits and supporting brand standards compliance.
• Tracking guest feedback, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives.
• Assisting departments in implementing service excellence programs and continuous improvement plans.
• Supporting the preparation for brand audits, quality assessments, and guest satisfaction reviews.
• Promoting a culture of engagement, learning, and continuous improvement across the hotel.
