Job summary

Confidential Company in Qatar seeks an experienced Sr HR role focused on Employee Relations, administration, and compliance with Qatar labor laws. You will handle disciplinary actions, investigations, and advising management while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with the Legal department.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in HR within heavy industry or petrochemicals, strong communication, conflict resolution, and privacy skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, law, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years’ direct HR experience, preferably in oil & gas, petrochemical, or large manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labor Laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and document Employee Relations and Disciplinary Actions
• Investigations as per guidelines
• Advising management facilitating communication
• Maintaining accurate employee records
• Handling exits and resolving employee disputes
• Participate in or conduct employee relations investigations
• Help employees and teams manage interpersonal conflicts
• Ensure all HR actions and processes comply with Qatar labor laws and company regulations with close coordination with the Legal department
• Coordinate maintenance of employee records held physically in Personnel files and/or electronically in HRIS
• Maintain confidential employee data within HR systems including probation, residency details, families and e-files
• Prepare and issue periodic and ad-hoc reports and statistics on HR matters (sick leaves, grievances, etc)
• Prepare and issue letters and other correspondence to external bodies (government authorities, ministries, pension authority, etc.)
