Job summary

CMC Advisor in Doha is seeking an HR & Qatar Labour Law Specialist to oversee HR operations in compliance with local regulations and company policies. You will advise on contracts, employee relations, and compliance matters while supporting onboarding, offboarding, and documentation processes.

The role requires a strong background in Qatar Labour Law, policy development, and practical HR guidance for management, with a focus on regulatory changes and risk mitigation in a dynamic business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, law, or related field.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and employment regulations.
• Experience in HR policies, employee relations, contracts and compliance.

• Ensure compliance with Qatar employment regulations and related government requirements.
• Support employee onboarding, offboarding, and documentation processes.
• Handle and advise on matters related to work permits, employment requirements, and expatriate employees.
• Review HR practices and identify potential compliance gaps and risks.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Support management in resolving employee relations and workplace matters.
• Stay updated on changes and developments in Qatar Labour Law and HR regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably within Qatar.
• Strong and practical knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and employment regulations.
• Experience in HR policies, employee relations, contracts, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of HR best practices and Qatar employment practices.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide practical HR advice to management.
• Qatar-based candidates are preferred.

A strong background in HR consulting or experience supporting companies with Qatar Labour Law compliance will be highly valued.
