Job summary

Adecco Middle East is hiring an experienced Employee Relations Specialist for a Qatar-based technology and digital solutions organisation. The role is based in Doha, requires 8+ years HR experience with strong ER exposure, and a solid understanding of Qatar Labour Law.

You will handle grievances, investigations, disciplinary matters and coach managers on ER and communication. Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred; AR/HC certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin or related field.
• 8+ years HR experience with strong ER exposure.
• Prior ER experience in Qatar required.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and regulations.
• Experience with grievances, investigations, disciplinary cases and PIPs.

• Act as main contact for employee relations matters and workplace concerns.
• Conduct employee investigations and recommend resolutions.
• Manage disciplinary matters, performance issues and PIPs.
• Interpret HR policies and Qatar employment regulations.
• Advise managers on ER and conflict resolution.

• Support employee engagement and other people initiatives.
• Maintain ER records and documentation.

Adecco Middle East is supporting a leading Qatar-based technology and digital solutions organisation with a strong presence across IT services, cloud, data centres and digital transformation in hiring an experienced Employee Relations Specialist.

Location: Doha, Qatar Experience: 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key point of contact for employee relations matters, grievances and workplace concerns
• Conduct employee investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions/actions
• Manage disciplinary matters, performance issues and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
• Interpret HR policies, procedures and applicable Qatar employment regulations
• Advise and coach managers on employee relations, conflict resolution and effective communication
• Handle complex and sensitive ER cases while maintaining confidentiality
• Support employee engagement, recognition and other people initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and employee relations case records
• Ensure HR/ER practices remain aligned with applicable employment laws and internal policies

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Minimum 8+ years of HR experience, with strong hands-on Employee Relations exposure
• Prior Employee Relations/HR experience in Qatar is required
• Strong practical knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and employment regulations
• Hands-on experience with grievances, investigations, disciplinary cases, employee conflicts and PIPs
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English – written and spoken
• HR/HC certifications would be an advantage
