Job summary

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an HR Manager for Compass International School Doha, Qatar, starting January 2027 or earlier. You will lead all HR activities, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, compliance, visas, performance reviews, and workforce planning.

Must have 5–7 years HR generalist experience, strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law, and excellent stakeholder engagement. CIPD is desirable; SuccessFactors experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 5–7 years HR generalist/management experience, preferably in school/service-led environment.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and MOEHE requirements.
• Proven track record in high-volume recruitment and onboarding.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to influence senior leaders; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for all school roles in partnership with school leadership.
• First point of contact for employee relations; provide coaching and mediation to managers and staff.
• Oversee payroll inputs, contract renewals, attendance, and personnel file maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE requirements, and Nord Anglia HR policies.
• Manage visa renewals, residency processes, and exit procedures.
• Coordinate the school's annual appraisal and performance review process.
• Support managers with goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
• Partner with the Principal on workforce structure, compensation, and priorities.
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing across the school community.
