Job summary

Nord Anglia Education is recruiting an HR Officer to join Etqan Global Academy in Doha, Qatar. The role supports HR operations, ensuring compliant records, onboarding/offboarding, payroll inputs, and staff welfare across the school.

The successful candidate will bring 4–6 years HR experience, solid local labour law knowledge, and strong communication with school leadership to drive efficient HR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–6 years’ HR experience, ideally within education or a similarly regulated sector.
• Strong knowledge of local labour laws and employment practices (Qatar experience preferred).
• Experience with payroll processes and HR data systems.
• Well organised, with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with school leadership.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the day-to-day delivery of HR operations across the school.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant employee records (digital and physical).
• Preparing contracts, amendments, renewals, and official correspondence.
• Contributing to onboarding and offboarding processes, and coordinating visa documentation where required.
• Coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes, including candidate documentation and offer paperwork.
• Preparing monthly payroll inputs in collaboration with Finance, and administering employee benefits.
• Providing day-to-day, low-level employee relations support to staff, escalating complex or sensitive matters to the HR Manager.
