Job summary

The Ned Doha in Doha is seeking a professional, friendly Bellman to welcome guests, assist with luggage and transport, and deliver a seamless, luxurious experience from arrival to departure.

As the first point of contact, you will provide information about hotel services and local attractions, coordinate with the valet team, escort guests to rooms, and respond to guest requests with a courteous, high‑level standard.

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury hotel, customer service, or hospitality role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Polished, professional appearance required.
• Ability to lift and transport heavy luggage.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, professional welcome.
• Assist guests with luggage and ensure safe transport to/from rooms.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with the valet team to ensure smooth guest transportation.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a professional, friendly, and dedicated Bellman to join our dynamic team and help us uphold our reputation for excellence.As a Bellman, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing a warm welcome and assisting with their luggage, transport needs, and general hotel inquiries. Your role is integral in delivering a seamless and luxurious experience for every guest from the moment they arrive to their departure.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm, professional welcome.
• Assist guests with luggage, ensuring that all items are safely transported to and from guest rooms.
• Provide information about the hotel’s amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate with the valet team to ensure smooth guest transportation.
• Escort guests to their rooms, ensuring they are familiar with the room’s features.
• Assist with various guest requests, such as arranging transportation, providing directions, or facilitating room service requests.
• Ensure the lobby, entrances, and hallways are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained.
• Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor at all times, ensuring guests' needs are met with a high level of service.
• Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly and escalated when necessary.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, customer service, or hospitality role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• A polished, professional appearance.
• Ability to lift and transport heavy luggage.
• Knowledge of the local area, including popular attractions and restaurants, is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
