Job summary

Claranet Portugal is seeking a Workplace Services Senior Engineer to join our internal team in Lisbon or Porto. You will design and deliver Microsoft Modern Workplace projects for enterprise customers, leading technical delivery and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities include architecture design (HLD/LLD), implementing Intune, Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, and 365 tenant migrations, plus ensuring zero trust security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering Microsoft Workplace projects.
• Experience leading technical implementations for enterprise customers.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience in project-based environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Right now, we are looking for a Workplace Services Senior Engineer to integrate our internal team, based in Lisbon or Porto.

Your responsibilities include:

• Design and implement Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions;
• Lead technical delivery of customer projects;
• Perform technical assessments and discovery workshops;
• Produce High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD);
• Implement Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra ID solutions;
• Deploy Windows Autopilot and Zero Touch Provisioning;
• Deliver Microsoft 365 tenant deployments and migrations;
• Implement Microsoft Security solutions following Zero Trust principles;
• Configure Identity, Device Compliance and Endpoint Security policies;
• Design and configure Microsoft Purview Sensitivity Labels, including label policies, protection settings, encryption, access controls and DLP policies;
• Define and implement data classification and information protection policies across Microsoft 365 workloads;
• Configure and manage DLP policies for Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams and endpoint devices;
• Implement and tune Microsoft Purview policies, including testing, monitoring, alerting and policy optimisation;
• Support information governance and compliance initiatives, aligning technical controls with customer security and regulatory requirements;
• Perform Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams migrations;
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph;
• Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to customers and internal teams;
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide technical leadership during project delivery.

You must have:

• 5+ years of experience delivering Microsoft Workplace projects;
• Experience leading technical implementations for enterprise customers;
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills;
• Experience working in project-based environments;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
• Fluent English (written and spoken);
• Technical Skills:

(Identity & Access Management) - Microsoft Entra ID; Hybrid Identity; Conditional Access; Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA); Privileged Identity Management (PIM); Identity Protection; Single Sign-On (SSO);

(Messaging & Collaboration) - Microsoft Teams; Exchange Online Migration; Microsoft 365 Tenant Migration;

(Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, particularly) - Data Loss Prevention (DLP); Sensitivity Labels; Information Protection; Data Classification; Endpoint DLP;
