We are supporting a major international organisation looking to add a Workday Time & Absence Functional Analyst to its established HR Digital Solutions team in Portugal.
The role sits within a 15-person HR tech team and will focus on the implementation, configuration, support and continuous improvement of Workday Time Tracking and Absence across a large international environment, with particular focus on Europe, Middle East & Africa and APAC.
You’ll take ownership of the ongoing configuration and maintenance of Workday Time Tracking and Absence, supporting both existing countries and further international implementations. This will include areas such as absence plans, time entry rules, time calculations, eligibility rules, accruals and calculated fields.
You’ll also provide third-line functional support, investigate configuration issues, coordinate testing and support Workday release activity. Working closely with HR, shared services and other stakeholders, you’ll help ensure the system continues to meet local business and legislative requirements.
A further part of the role will be identifying opportunities to improve, simplify and automate existing processes, while maintaining accurate configuration documentation and contributing to user guidance and knowledge materials.
This is a strong opportunity to join a sizeable international Workday team with responsibility for a broad global environment and continued rollout activity.
The preferred arrangement is hybrid working from Lisbon, with two days per week onsite, although candidates elsewhere in Portugal can also be considered for a largely remote setup.
