Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Workday Payroll Analyst based in Portugal to support enterprise implementation and ensure accurate payroll processing. You will lead testing activities (SIT, UAT, end-to-end), validate configurations, and coordinate with HR, Payroll, Finance and technical teams to drive go-live readiness.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of Workday Payroll experience across multiple full-cycle implementations.
• Deep expertise in Workday Payroll configuration and testing methodologies.
• Proven experience leading payroll testing activities for enterprise deployments.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax processing, earnings and deductions.
• Experience with Workday reporting, troubleshooting, and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll testing and validation throughout implementation and deployment.
• Lead payroll testing initiatives (SIT, end-to-end, regression, parallel payroll, UAT).
• Validate payroll configurations (earnings, deductions, taxes, garnishments, compliance).
• Develop and execute test scripts, document results, coordinate defect resolution.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, and partners to ensure successful payroll processing and readiness.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
• Troubleshoot payroll system issues and contribute to defect management.
