Hexa Consulting is seeking a Senior Windows System Administrator to support enterprise infrastructure in Porto with a hybrid work model. The role focuses on server administration, incident management, service continuity, and infrastructure standardization across complex environments.

The candidate will work across Windows Server (2019/2022/2025), VMware vCenter, MECM/SCCM, AD, and NetApp storage while ensuring security and operational stability.

Qualificações

• 6–9 years of professional experience in systems administration.
• Degree or technical background in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong Windows system administration experience, plus Linux knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Level 2/3 support for Windows Server environments and resolve incidents promptly.
• Manage ITIL-based processes for incidents, problems, changes, and service quality.
• Support installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of physical/virtual servers.

We are looking for a Senior Windows System Administrator to support infrastructure operations in the banking sector. This role is based in Porto, with a hybrid working model, and focuses on server administration, incident management, service continuity, operational stability and infrastructure standardization across complex enterprise environments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• - Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Windows Server environments, ensuring operational continuity and timely resolution of incidents, problems and service requests.
• - Manage infrastructure activities through ITIL-based processes, including incidents, problems, changes, planned operations and service quality follow-up.
• - Support the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of physical and virtual servers.
• - Deploy applications, patches and updates using MECM or SCCM, contributing to industrialization and operational efficiency.
• - Analyze infrastructure issues, identify operational risks, escalête when required and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• - Monitor systems, contribute to service oversight and help maintain managed assets in operational condition.
• - Assist in the design, implementation and maintenance of services within the infrastructure scope.
• - Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and support materials.
• - Apply security best practices and ensure infrastructure consistency with defined standards and service requirements.
• - Participate in disaster recovery, technical interventions and operational constraints when required.
• - Support storage migration and implementation activities involving enterprise storage solutions.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• - 6 to 9 years of professional experience in systems administration, with strong exposure to complex enterprise infrastructure environments.
• - Degree or technical background in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• - Strong experience in Windows system administration, with additional knowledge of Linux environments.
• - Professional working proficiency in English.
• - Good communication, organization, analysis and problem-solving skills.
• - Collaborative, adaptable and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work in multicultural teams.
• - Availability for occasional weekend technical support and punctual work on holidays when required.
