Job summary

Jobgether is partnering with a leading defense technology organization to hire a VP Global Demand & Delivery based in Portugal. The role drives the linkage between sales forecasts and production capacity across multi-site manufacturing in Europe and the United States.

You will establish a scalable S&OP framework, own the weekly demand forecast, and work with Sales, Finance and site leadership to ensure assets, materials and schedules align with priorities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in demand planning, S&OP, or production planning within hardware/manufacturing.
• Experience supporting fast-growing businesses with multi-site operations.
• Strong ability to translate forecasts into actionable demand and production plans.
• Analytical skills with forecasting models and performance reporting.
• Experience collaborating across Sales, Finance, Operations and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain global bookings and demand forecast on a weekly cadence.
• Translate forecasts into detailed demand projections by platform and product.
• Align forecast with Finance and senior leadership on a shared plan.
• Match forecasted demand to production capacity across sites.
• Coordinate materials, labor, scheduling, and site allocation ahead of orders.
• Identify capacity gaps and distribute work across facilities.
• Support capacity planning as the footprint expands in the U.S. and Europe.
• Build and implement a scalable S&OP framework with reviews and dashboards.
• Establish planning metrics: forecast accuracy, capacity utilization, on-time delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional planning across sites and time zones.
