Job summary

Devoteam is seeking a detail-oriented UEM Engineer / Ivanti MDM Administrator to join our nearshore team in Portugal. You will manage, deploy, and maintain unified endpoint management for our corporate mobile fleet, ensuring security compliance and optimal performance across iOS and Android while coordinating with global IT teams.

The role requires 2+ years in MDM/UEM, strong Ivanti experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience administering MDM/UEM solutions, with Ivanti/MobileIron focus.
• 3–5 years IT experience in Infrastructure or Digital Workplace.
• Strong knowledge of iOS/iPadOS and Android enrollment architectures (BYOD/COPE/COBO).
• Hands-on with deployment portals (Apple Business Manager, Android Zero-Touch, Samsung Knox).
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, SAML, OAuth, and PKI/Certificates.
• Familiarity with Ivanti Sentry/Access and ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Excellent analytical, root-cause investigation, and troubleshooting skills.
• Fluency in English and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile console daily.
• Manage device enrollment and lifecycle via vendor portals: Apple Business Manager (DEP/VPP), Android Enterprise (Zero-Touch), and Samsung Knox.
• Create, test, deploy security compliance rules, configuration profiles (Wi-Fi, VPN, Certificates), and user groups.
• Handle the packaging, deployment, and continuous updates for public and internal line-of-business (LOB) mobile applications.
• Act as a Level 2/3 escalation point for complex mobile-related incidents, performing advanced log analysis (Ivanti Sentry gateways and mobile OS).
• Provide high-touch 'White Glove' support for executive/VIP users requiring rapid technical assistance.
• Maintain infrastructure integrations across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), PKI, SAML, and SSO authentication flows.
• Monitor iOS and Android ecosystem updates to ensure Day-Zero readiness and compliance.
• Document technical processes, SOPs, and knowledge base articles for L1 support teams.
• Support onboarding and offboarding workflows for corporate mobile endpoints.
