Closer Consulting in Lisbon seeks a QA Test Lead / Senior Test Specialist to drive software testing across diverse projects. You will lead testing activities, define strategies, and mentor testers within Agile delivery teams.

The role values extensive QA leadership, strong ISTQB knowledge, and collaboration with banking/insurance domain projects. Remote-friendly setup with home office support is offered.

Formación

• 5+ years leading and executing software testing.
• Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent.

We are seeking a QA Test Lead / Senior Test Specialist eager to take on new challenges in Lisbon.

Are you the one?

• Academic background with a degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or an equivalent field.
• Proven track record of at least 5 years leading and executing software testing activities.
• Proficiency in French.
• Solid grasp of core testing concepts, methodologies, and terminology aligned with ISTQB standards, alongside a clear comprehension of overall project delivery frameworks.
• Demonstrated capability in defining comprehensive test strategies and managing test timelines and schedules.
• Experience coordinating, supervising, and mentoring software testers.
• Practical experience operating effectively within Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with project tracking and testing management tools such as ALM Octane, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Working knowledge of SQL and API testing.
• Previous experience validating systems within the banking or life insurance sectors (highly valued).
• Strong risk assessment and risk tracking abilities.
• Excellent leadership, team coordination, and motivational skills.
• Rigorous logical, analytical, and critical thinking with effective synthesis and summarization skills.
• High level of dedication, high standards of quality, and a pedagogical mindset.
