Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Portugal seeks a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop and execute automated test scenarios for web and enterprise applications, using Python/Robot Framework and API testing tools.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform functional, regression, and integration testing, and support AI-based testing initiatives while enjoying a hybrid work model and strong career development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with Python and/or Robot Framework for test automation.
• Knowledge of API testing with SoapUI/ReadyAPI and/or Postman.
• Experience with Database testing and SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scenarios for web and enterprise applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python and/or Robot Framework.
• Execute and validate API tests using SoapUI/ReadyAPI and/or Postman.
• Perform database testing, data validation, and troubleshoot data-related issues.
• Collaborate closely with development, business, and product teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
