Job summary

Decskill is expanding its IT consulting practice and seeks a Technical Business Analyst focusing on Risk & Stress Testing. The role supports Finance and Risk functions with efficiency, agility and timely delivery. The successful candidate will work with SQL, Python, PySpark and Dataiku in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, IT, CS or related field.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Expert.
• Experience with Credit Risk, IFRS9, Basel regulations or Stress Testing is mandatory.
• Strong SQL and Python skills are required.

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst – Risk & Stress Testing!

Mission: The role is part of an international IT organization supporting Finance and Risk functions, with a strong focus on efficiency, agility, proximity and time-to-market.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyse business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
• Specify and test solutions to support successful deployment while respecting budget, regulatory and delivery constraints.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and development teams.
• Participate in the production of official stress test results.
• Provide functional support to users and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the solutions, ensuring the operation, maintainability and scalability of the calculation engines.
• Participate in the definition, specification and testing of new developments for the engines and user interfaces.
• Contribute to production activities and end-user support.
• Develop a transversal understanding of the products and processes within the scope of responsibility.
• Work within an Agile environment and collaborate closely with technical and functional teams.
• Contribute to the evolution and transformation of Risk-related solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science or a relevant field.
• Relevant professional experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Expert.
• Experience with Credit Risk, IFRS9, Basel regulations or Stress Testing is mandatory.
• Previous banking experience is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in SQL – mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in Python – mandatory.
• Knowledge of PySpark is a plus.
• Knowledge of Dataiku is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Strong technical background and ability to contribute immediately to technical activities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness and ability to develop further expertise in Risk-related topics.
