Decskill is growing and seeks a dedicated Business Analyst to join our Lisbon-based team. You will drive end-to-end lifecycle from analysis to validation, translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver MVP-aligned solutions.

The role requires strong requirements gathering, Agile experience, BPMN/UML knowledge, and hands-on testing lifecycle management, in a fast-moving, international environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar IT role.
• Professional experience in referential administration, data management and/or databases.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and management, including User Stories, Use Cases, Business Rules, Acceptance Criteria.
• Strong knowledge of process modelling, including BPMN and/or UML.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, including backlog refinement, sprint management and MVP prioritisation.
• Strong knowledge of the software testing lifecycle, including IST, UAT, Regression Testing, API/interface testing and data flows.
• Understanding of application architecture, system interfaces, data flows and integration patterns; knowledge of Data Quality.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of business requirements from initial analysis and specification through delivery and validation.
• Conduct workshops and interviews with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyse and document requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, including User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Business Rules and Process Maps.
• Analyse As-Is processes and design To-Be workflows, identifying gaps, bottlenecks and opportunities for automation and digital transformation.
• Act as the bridge between Business and IT/Development teams, ensuring requirements and expectations are clearly understood and aligned.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog and support Agile delivery, ensuring alignment with MVP priorities.
• Work closely with developers to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria and validate proposed solutions.
• Lead the testing lifecycle, including test strategy definition, IST, UAT, and regression testing.
• Define complex test scenarios for data flows and APIs and ensure requirements are fully validated.
• Manage the defect lifecycle, coordinating resolution and supporting end users throughout the validation and deployment process.
• Analyse data ecosystems and investigate data quality and consistency issues, identifying root causes and supporting corrective actions.
• Support the integration and evolution of third-party data ecosystems, including APIs and data virtualization.
• Analyse data flows and processes to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, operational efficiency and time-to-market.
• Present complex technical and functional information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are looking for an Business Analyst!
