Job summary

act digital is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to design, lead, and scale applications across Java/Spring, Angular, and Google Cloud Platform. You will define architectural blueprints, guide backend and cloud development, direct IaC with Terraform on GCP, and supervise frontend work with Angular and AngularJS.

The role requires strong leadership, deep Java/Spring/Python expertise, PostgreSQL proficiency, and a track record mentoring Agile teams. English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Senior software engineer or architect with leadership experience.
• Deep Java and Spring ecosystem expertise.
• Proficient with PostgreSQL databases.
• Cloud and DevOps with GCP, Terraform, and Docker.

At act digital, we are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to design, lead, and scale robust applications across Java/Spring, Angular, and Google Cloud Platform!

What You Will Do

• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Define technical and architectural blueprints, establish modern software engineering best practices, and ensure strict alignment with functional business needs.
• Backend & Cloud Development: Architect scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Framework, and Python, leveraging PostgreSQL databases and containerization with Docker.
• Infrastructure as Code & Cloud: Direct cloud infrastructure automation and deployment workflows on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform.
• Frontend Oversight: Guide the development of modern web applications built on Angular and AngularJS.
• Mentorship & Quality: Lead code reviews, drive technical design discussions, and mentor developers in an Agile delivery framework.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Proven track record in a Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or Solution Architect role.
• Backend Stack: Deep expertise in Java, the full Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Framework), and Python.
• Databases: Hands-on proficiency in PostgreSQL.
• Cloud & DevOps: Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Terraform (IaC), and Docker.
• Frontend: Working knowledge of Angular and AngularJS.
• Languages: English is required; French is a valuable plus (Nice to have).
