Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking a qualified engineer to join our rail and automation projects in Lisbon. You will participate in end-to-end engineering activities for SCADA and Access Control systems, from design to commissioning, and contribute to specification, integration, validation, and documentation.

You will provide on-site support for FAT/SAT and customer acceptance, manage project requirements, support field tests, and deliver customer-focused solutions within a dynamic engineering team.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience engineering, configuring, or implementing SCADA systems.
• Experience in telecommunications design activities.
• Proficient in MS Office; highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Prefers CAD Design, HMI design knowledge, or integrated control systems.

Responsibilities

What will you do?

• Participate in end-to-end engineering activities for SCADA and Access Control systems, encompassing design, testing, implementation, and commissioning phases.
• Contribute to the specification, integration, validation, and technical documentation of critical railway safety and control systems.
• Provide on-site support for installation, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and customer acceptance, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Manage project requirements, support field tests, and implement customer-focused solutions within a dynamic engineering team.

What are we looking for?

• University Degree in Engineering, preferably Electronics or Control & Automation, with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
• Proven practical experience in engineering, configuration, or implementation of SCADA systems, ideally in telecommunications, industrial, control & automation, or integrated systems environments.
• Solid experience in telecommunications design activities and comfort with various engineering tasks from requirements definition to commissioning.
• Proficiency in MS Office and strong capabilities in organization, attention to detail, efficient multi-task management, and problem-solving.
• (Preferential) Experience in CAD Design, HMI design and development, or knowledge of integrated control and monitoring systems.

• Fluency in Portuguese and English, coupled with excellent communication, customer-focus, and teamwork skills.
