Job summary

Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead operations for corporate facilities. The role requires a mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering background with at least five years in facility management within a corporate setting.

Candidates should hold H&S level VI training, and be fluent in English and Portuguese, with the legal right to work in Portugal. The position is on-site and offers opportunities for growth within a multinational group.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or civil) or a related field;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management in a corporate environment;
• Professional training in Occupational Health & Safety, minimum level VI (preferable);
• Technical expertise and proven track record in managing operations and maintenance of corporate facilities;
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills;
• Effective planning skills to define and implement strategies while managing daily needs;
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset;
• Resilience to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively – capable of shifting between autonomous work and within a team;
• Knowledge of regulatory and legal policies related to facility management;
• Ability to foster a positive and autonomous work culture and empower the facilities team;
• Proactive approach with the ability to bring new ideas to the company;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese;
