Aubay Portugal is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems, leveraging Jenkins and GitLab CI.

You will automate infrastructure with OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible, develop automated tests, and build observability dashboards using Grafana and Prometheus.

The role requires knowledge of Yocto/Buildroot and Zephyr RTOS, excellent English, and the right to work in Portugal with a hybrid work model.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of professional DevOps experience.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools and IaC.
• Experience with embedded systems is highly valued.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (SonarQube, pytest).
• Experience with observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).
• Familiarity with embedded Linux builds (Yocto, Buildroot) and Zephyr RTOS.
• Fluent English and right to work in Portugal.

What will you do?

• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems, leveraging tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI for declarative workflows;
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible;
• Develop and integrate automated testing strategies, including fail-fast quality gates for emulators (QEMU) and real hardware (HIL test benches);
• Establish comprehensive observability and telemetry solutions, building real-time monitoring dashboards with Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenTelemetry;
• Ensure secure software supply chain practices and implement progressive delivery techniques such as A/B and OTA deployments with automatic rollbacks;
• Contribute to the build and maintenance of custom Linux images (Yocto, Buildroot) and real-time firmware (Zephyr RTOS).

What are we looking for?

• Proven professional experience of at least 5 years as a DevOps Engineer;
• Solid expertise in CI/CD pipeline orchestration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Nexus) and Infrastructure as Code (OpenTofu/Terraform, Ansible);
• Experience in embedded systems is extremely valued;
• Proficiency in automated testing and quality assurance frameworks (SonarQube, pytest, QEMU, HIL test benches, OWASP ZAP).
• Experience with observability platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry);
• Familiarity with embedded Linux builds (Yocto, Buildroot) and real-time operating systems (Zephyr RTOS) is highly valued;
• Fluent English communication skills are mandatory, with the right to work in Portugal (EU citizen or valid work permit);
