Job summary

Axians Portugal is seeking a Systems Analyst to bridge business and IT, document functional and non-functional requirements, and map AS-IS / TO-BE processes. You will prepare procurement requirements and evaluation criteria to guide software selections, whether internal or market-based, and coordinate with Group IT.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in functional analysis, requirements gathering, and process documentation.
• Experience in preparing procurement documentation and supporting solution evaluation processes is considered a plus.

• Act as a bridge between business/functional areas and IT teams, ensuring clear, effective, and seamless communication.
• Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Model and document business processes (AS-IS / TO-BE), identifying opportunities for improvement, optimization, and process rationalization.
• Prepare procurement requirements, functional specifications, and evaluation criteria for solution and vendor selection processes, while coordinating activities with the Group IT organization.
• Support the evaluation of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with operational, architectural, and strategic business needs.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and external vendors throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, implemented solutions, and the expected business benefits.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a professional responsible for analyzing, mapping, and optimizing business processes, ensuring clear and structured documentation, as well as preparing functional specifications and procurement requirements that serve as the foundation for selecting and implementing the most suitable software solutions, whether internally developed or sourced from the market.

What You Will Do On a Daily Basis

• Act as a bridge between business/functional areas and IT teams, ensuring clear, effective, and seamless communication.
• Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business objectives and strategic priorities.
• Model and document business processes (AS-IS / TO-BE), identifying opportunities for improvement, optimization, and process rationalization.

Your Main Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Autonomous, proactive, and highly responsible profile.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model, splitting time between the Alcanena and Lisbon offices (3 days per week).
• Fluency in French and English.
