Axians in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst to join our team in digital transformation projects. You will gather requirements, design functional solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software in collaboration with business stakeholders, developers, and testers.

You will contribute to test strategies, lead workshops, and act as the main liaison to ensure alignment between business needs and delivered solutions in an agile environment.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst in IT projects.
• Experience creating functional documentation and user stories.
• Strong client-facing experience and ability to liaise with decision-makers.
• Experience in Agile environments and test planning.
• Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Gather, analyse, validate, and document business and functional requirements.
• Prepare functional specifications and support development teams.
• Design, execute, and validate tests (functional, integration, UAT).
• Identify and track defects until resolution.
• Act as main liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Lead workshops and requirements sessions with clients.
• Ensure solutions meet quality standards and project objectives.

We’re looking to hire a Senior Functional Analyst to join our Team in digital transformation projects.

Project Scope

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with business stakeholders, development teams, and testing teams to gather requirements, design functional solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Contribute to the definition and execution of test strategies while supporting complex projects with high business impact.

Mandatory Skills

• More than 6 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in IT projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and functional specifications.
• Experience creating functional documentation, use cases, process flows, user stories, and business requirements.
• Hands-on experience in test planning, test case creation, test execution, and defect management.
• Proven experience working in complex and large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong client-facing experience, with the ability to manage and facilitate interactions with business users and decision-makers.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Public Sector projects.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Xray, HP ALM, or similar.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Experience in digital transformation initiatives.
• ISTQB Certification or equivalent testing certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
