Job summary

Forvia Interiors in Portugal (Santa Maria da Feira) seeks a Troubleshooting / QSS specialist to manage supply chain risk, coordinate urgent transports, and arbitrate priorities among plants and suppliers. You will monitor crises, initiate premium freight, and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining data accuracy.

Join the team to collaborate with plants, carriers and the premium team, and participate in OEM escalations when needed. Fluency in English plus another language is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, transport, or supply-chain management.
• Experience in transport operations or material planning.
• SAP and TMS tools knowledge.
• Multicultural communication with customers, carriers, and team members.
• Bi-lingual (English + another language).
• Organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to work under time pressure and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of crisis situations and arbitration of priorities.
• Coordinate urgent procurement/shipments with premium team.
• Initiate premium freight and ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate with Plants, Suppliers and Traffic schedulers and carriers.
• Maintain accurate data and track backlogs/fcst figures.
• Collaborate to identify process improvements and optimization.
• Participate in escalation meetings with OEMs as needed.
• Work with suppliers during arbitration as required.
