Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Lisbon/Porto is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and strategic deals. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure contract operationalization with rigorous governance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT project management experience, strong system integration knowledge, and advanced English.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in IT project management or similar roles.
Strong knowledge of system integration, data modeling, and enterprise architecture.
Excellent written and spoken English (C1+).
Experience handling complex tech projects in matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle of IT and telecommunications projects from initiation to closure.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across contracts.
Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, constraints, and changes.
Ensure quality of delivery and operational readiness of contracts.
Serve as primary contact for partners and clients; manage communications.
Prepare executive updates, KPI dashboards and project documentation.
Lead cross-functional teams and drive milestone achievement.
Track performance and implement mitigation plans.
