Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Lisbon/Porto is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology projects and strategic deals. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure contract operationalization with rigorous governance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of IT project management experience, strong system integration knowledge, and advanced English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of system integration, data modeling, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent written and spoken English (C1+).
• Experience handling complex tech projects in matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of IT and telecommunications projects from initiation to closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across contracts.
• Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, constraints, and changes.
• Ensure quality of delivery and operational readiness of contracts.
• Serve as primary contact for partners and clients; manage communications.
• Prepare executive updates, KPI dashboards and project documentation.
• Lead cross-functional teams and drive milestone achievement.
• Track performance and implement mitigation plans.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, overseeing contract operationalization, ensuring delivery quality, and driving project execution through structured methodologies.
