Job summary

Convatec is seeking a Finance Business Partner to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving commercial performance and delivering financial outcomes aligned with strategic objectives. You’ll partner with CBS and the wider Finance team to provide insights and challenge decisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in Finance Business Partnering supporting Commercial, Sales, Marketing, or Leadership teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence, challenge, and build credibility with senior stakeholders in a matrix organisation.
• Experience developing business cases and analysing complex financial scenarios.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to drive financial performance and support strategic objectives.
• Provide insightful analysis, identify risks, opportunities, and mitigation plans.
• Translate financial results into clear business insights for stakeholders.
• Support planning, forecasting, and performance management processes.
• Challenge assumptions and assess financial viability of initiatives and investments.
• Develop and evaluate business cases, commercial agreements, and pricing proposals.
• Collaborate with Finance teams to ensure alignment and effective financial support.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making through data-driven insights.
• Contribute to the development of commercial finance capabilities and share best practices.
• Lead and develop one direct report.
