Job summary

adidas seeks a Specialist GBS Credit & Collections who will manage dunning, collections, and credit management for Czech and Slovak customers within adidas Europe. You will partner with Sales, Finance and Customer Data teams to maintain healthy receivables.

The role requires a university degree in accounting or finance, 2+ years in accounting or corporate finance, and strong SAP and Excel skills. Fluency in English and Czech or Slovak is essential, with a customer-focused mindset and strong

Qualifications

University degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in accounting or corporate finance.
Experience in a Shared Service environment is preferred.
Strong finance acumen and analytical skills.
Proficient in SAP and Excel.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely collection of receivables and resolve payment issues with customers.
Allocate payments accurately and timely.
Follow up on discrepancies within defined time frames.
Manage customer relationships and perform root cause analysis.
Assess and mitigate customer credit risk according to policy.
Provide insights into accounts receivable position to leadership and stakeholders.
Track and escalate disputes until resolution.
Identify improvement opportunities and support implementation.
Maintain up-to-date desktop procedures aligned with standards.
