Job summary

adidas Group is seeking a Specialist GBS Accounts Payable (Greek Speaker) to support AP reconciliation, supplier statement review, and analytics within the Source to Pay process. The role requires Greek language proficiency and solid SAP experience in a fast-paced GBS environment.

The candidate will guide internal customers on GBS S2P policies, ensure timely follow-ups, and collaborate with local markets and other GBS departments to maintain accurate supplier accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong finance acumen with understanding of AP processes.
• Experience in a Shared Service environment or similar.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English and German in a business setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on GBS S2P processes and policies; resolve queries for internal customers and suppliers.
• Facilitate efficient use of the Source To Pay system (Ariba Guided Buying).
• Review open items and support reconciliation between supplier accounts and statements.
• Secure timely cross-checks on regular controls and perform quality checks on Purchase requests.
• Ensure timely analysis of debit balance accounts; follow up with suppliers and other finance teams.

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

adidas Global Business Services (GBS) is the engine to drive the transformation to ONE adidas. It is the company's operational backbone, through delivering standard global services, focusing on enhancing customer user experience, and providing consistent skills and quality. We are looking to fill this role with a candidate that can be responsible to support the activities of account reconciliation, drive timely review and follow up for supplier accounts and other analytic reports within Source to Pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance for internal customers on GBS S2P processes and policies and resolve queries for internal customers and suppliers
• Facilitate efficient use of the Source To Pay system (Ariba Guided Buying)
• Review open items and support reconciliation between supplier accounts and the supplier statements, request missing documents and potential reimbursements
• Secure timely cross-checks on regular controls, as needed
• Perform quality checks on Purchase requests, Non-Trade related
• Ensure timely analysis of Debit balance accounts by working closely with suppliers and other finance teams
• Ensure they are balanced by resolving the causes of non-payment, requesting missing and complementary information and executing proper follow ups
