adidas is seeking a Specialist GBS Credit & Collections (French Speaker) for a maternity cover in Porto. You will manage dunning, collections, and credit risk while supporting process standardisation across adidas Europe.

You will collaborate with Sales, Finance and Market teams, handling disputes, account aging, and data accuracy. Fluency in English and French is preferred, with a strong customer orientation and problem-solving mindset. This role is based on-site in Porto.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Accounting or Business Administration or similar field.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in accounting / corporate finance.
• Broad and deep theoretical understanding of the job function.

Aufgaben

• Ensure a timely collection of receivables by working closely with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure payments are allocated accurately and timely without errors.
• Follow-up on discrepancies and resolve within a reasonable time frame.
• Manage customer relationships, including problem resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Assess and review credit risk on customers to mitigate risk per policy.
• Provide credit block review, release proposals and insights to leadership.
