Position
For our outlet store in Lisbon, we are recruiting for a full-time Store Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a strong and successful business with ambitious yet realistic growth plans. The role is responsible for achieving sales and profit targets, managing and coordinating daily store operations and sales staff, reporting results to the Store Manager, and continuously improving service quality and store ambiance in line with the corporate identity.
Sales and Customer Service
- Ensure the team delivers excellent customer service.
- Implement effective zoning to cover all areas of the shop floor at all times.
- Maintain company standards on the shop floor, BOH, and for Sales Associates in accordance with brand standards and VM directives.
- Apply Welcome to Karl training and provide feedback on strengths and improvement needs to the Store Manager.
- Lead by example on the shop floor, drive sales by monitoring and pushing individual and team KPIs.
Operations
- Ensure guidelines of Karl Lagerfeld are met within all operational aspects.
- Handle POS transactions, stock, and back‑of‑house activities.
- Maintain stock in good condition and keep the store fully replenished at all times.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute Merchandise Calendar directions, campaigns, and sales promotions.
- Use correct interior signage, pricing, signage, and displays at all times.
- Maintain a hazard‑free environment in compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Monitor theft and take steps toward loss prevention.
- Train and coach the team on health and safety, theft and loss.
- Follow House of Karl procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate head‑office information (Merchandising, VM, Operations) to store staff and ensure understanding and compliance.
- Ensure availability and ordering of materials and supplies needed for daily store routine.
Commercial
- Use company tools to diagnose opportunities, analyze data, prepare reports, and develop action plans to improve performance.
- Prepare sales and customer relations reports; analyze and categorize sales information; identify and investigate customer complaints and service suggestions.
- Forecast business in cooperation with the Store Manager, focusing on productivity to meet sales goals.
- Assist the Store Manager in partnering with the merchandise department to increase sales, promote merchandise categories, and maximize business opportunities.
- Evaluate competition by visiting competing stores and gathering information on style, quality, and prices.
- Control inventory stock levels; report product needs to the Store Manager as necessary; anticipate customer demand.
People Management
- Assist the Store Manager in motivating the team and recognizing potential and development opportunities.
- Recruit, retain, and develop excellent staff.
- Cope employees through performance management (PDP).
- Provide structure and daily priorities for the team on the shop floor.
- Control absenteeism.
Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in Fashion Retail.
- Extensive experience delivering a high level of customer service.
- Experience in retail operations, budgeting, planning, customer service, leadership, and sales.
- Strong relationship‑building skills, cross‑department collaboration, structured thinking, and proactive planning.
- Open, honest, and constructive communication.
