Five9 is seeking a Staff Information Security Engineer to own the operationalization and maturity of the Cyber Resiliency program across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will lead governance, tooling, and engineering engagement, partnering with Cloud Security to scale security across the SaaS platform and to drive remediation velocity.

This role requires hands-on cloud security, IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, risk reporting to executives, and mentoring of junior engineers.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of information security experience in a senior technical role.
• Experience operationalizing a security program with governance and reporting.
• Hands-on cloud security experience (GCP strongly preferred), IAM, networking, compute, and storage security.
• Strong experience with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to drive remediation without direct authority.
• Experience building executive security reporting and metrics.
• Excellent communication with leadership and teams.
• Self-directed with ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Own the operational lifecycle of the Cyber Resiliency program, including tool administration and issue triage workflows.
• Develop governance with SLAs, escalation paths, and quarterly reviews.
• Build executive reporting on resilience trends, remediation velocity, and risk exposure.
• Drive the program communication plan with engineering teams to set expectations before remediation.
• Define prioritization frameworks balancing criticality, environment, and effort.
• Partner with engineering leads to drive remediation and track progress in Jira.
