Job summary

Five9 is seeking a Staff Information Security Engineer to lead the Cyber Resiliency program across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will own tool administration, governance, and executive reporting, while partnering with Cloud Security on architecture reviews and automated guardrails.

This role emphasizes remediation, risk reduction, and security maturity across a SaaS/Cloud environment. You will drive policy-as-code, CI/CD integration, and IaC coverage, ensuring security postures improve with scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security experience, in a senior technical role.
• Experience operationalizing a security program with governance, processes, and reporting.
• Hands-on with at least one major cloud platform (GCP strongly preferred).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to drive remediation and risk reduction across engineering teams without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Own the Cyber Resiliency program lifecycle, tool administration, and issue triage workflows.
• Develop governance, SLAs, and remediation quarterly reviews.
• Create executive resilience reports and track remediation velocity by system.
• Collaborate with Cloud Security for architecture reviews and policy development.
