Job summary

PTJ Fedex Express Portugal, Unip., Lda is seeking a Special Services Supervisor to oversee daily operations of a 7am–10pm shift, coordinating a team of employees and contractors in a high‑volume freight environment. The role requires strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on service levels and safety.

You will interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure bookings, quotes and on‑time deliveries, while maintaining a supportive, fair workplace

Qualifications

• Experience in managing a shift and team in a busy freight processing environment.
• Strong time management capacity to manage own and team's time effectively.
• Analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate a team of employees and contractors across a 7am–10pm schedule.
• Address escalated or complex issues within the time‑critical special services department.
• Coordinate bookings, quotes and ensure timely deliveries with stakeholders.
• Ensure team members are motivated and treated fairly and consistently; uphold safety and compliance.
