MoOngy in Portugal is seeking a Software Architect to lead design and development of scalable software systems. The role combines hands-on leadership with shaping enterprise architectures across cloud and on-prem components.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, ensure security and performance, and drive modernization through microservices, CI/CD, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. The hybrid model requires two to three days in the office per week.

Qualificações

• Must have experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) and frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• Proven ability to design scalable microservices architectures and implement CI/CD pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Lead software development teams hands-on and drive technical decisions.
• Design and evolve scalable enterprise architectures with focus on performance and security.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the software lifecycle from conception to monitoring.
• Promote security best practices across platform components and cloud environments.

Work Model:

hybrid - 2/3 days a week in the office

Eligibility:

Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

• Cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP), resource optimization;
• React, Angular, Vue, hands-on frontend expertise;
• Docker, Kubernetes, containerization and orchestration;
• Microservices architecture, CI/CD, process automation, scalable and sustainable design.

• Technical curiosity and continuous learning, interest in emerging technologies and industry trends;
• Critical thinking, autonomy, initiative, collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities:

• Lead software development teams hands-on, lead technical decisions and guide teams on development standards and best practices;
• Design and evolve scalable enterprise architectures, ensuring performance, security and maintainability;
• Explore and propose innovative solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the software lifecycle, from conception to post-production monitoring;
• Ensure security best practices across platform components and promote best practices and resource optimization in cloud environments.
