Near.U in Portugal is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to migrate multiple AWS accounts into a single consolidated environment and streamline deployment processes for our in-house platform. You will work in an Agile squad, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps, strong HashiCorp tooling (Terraform, Vault, Consul, Nomad) and solid AWS knowledge.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
• Minimum 5 years working as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong HashiCorp toolset experience: Terraform, Vault, Consul, Nomad.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud computing.
• Infrastructure as Code and automation experience.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash or Go.
• Programming knowledge: NodeJS, Python or C#.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to play a key role in migrating cloud infrastructures (AWS) from multiple AWS accounts into a single consolidated environment, whilst streamlining the software deployment processes for in-house developed application platform. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with a modern HashiCorp-based infrastructure stack and thrive in an environment where ambiguity and problem-solving go hand in hand.

The position

As part of an Agile Squad, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and scaling different platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the solutions developed are robust functionally and technically, also meeting requirements.

You should have a solid experience as a DevOps Engineer, with excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members. Autonomy, adaptability, and comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment are essential for success.

What You Bring To The Position

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar.
• Minimum experience of 5 years working as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong expertise across the HashiCorp toolset — Terraform, Vault, Consul and Nomad
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud computing and cloud infrastructure management
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation
• Experience with scripting languages — Python, Bash or Go
• Working knowledge of programming languages — NodeJS, Python or C#
• Experience with APM and logging tools such as Datadog, New Relic or ELK stack
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to navigate and deliver in ambiguous environments
• Good level of English.
