MoOngy is seeking a Python Software Engineer in Portugal to design, develop and maintain Python applications in a hybrid setup (2/3 office days). You will collaborate with product and design teams, implement robust APIs, and contribute to scalable, secure software across environments.

Applicants should have 3+ years of Python experience, familiarity with Django/Flask, RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), Git, CI/CD and cloud platforms; good testing practices and Agile/Scrum mindset are expected.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience developing software with Python.
• Proficient in Django, Flask or similar, RESTful APIs, integration patterns.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and distributed systems concepts.
• Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain Python applications, write clean, well-tested and well-documented code; participate in code reviews.
• Integrate, test, debug and maintain software across development, staging and production; address performance, scalability and security issues.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers; contribute to technical design, development processes and documentation.

The Role: Python Software Engineer

Work Model:

hybrid - 2/3 days a week in the office

Eligibility:

Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there

• 3+ years of professional experience developing software with Python;
• Django, Flask or similar, RESTful APIs, integration patterns;
• Relational and/or NoSQL databases, distributed system concepts;
• Git, pull requests, code reviews, Agile/Scrum;
• CI/CD, Docker, infrastructure-as-code;
• Unit, integration and automated testing, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure).
