Go (Golang) Developer

Location: Portugal - Full Remote

Location: Our Engineering team is mainly based in Portugal, and this position is open to candidates living in Portugal (North region is a plus)

Overview:

As part of an Agile Squad, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable applications. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that are both technically solid and aligned with business needs.

We are looking for a software engineer who combines technical expertise with problem-solving skills, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to thrive in dynamic environments. Autonomy, adaptability, and collaboration are key to success in this role.

Required Skills and Tools:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience with Go (Golang).
• Hands-on experience with Docker or other container technologies.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., GitLab).
• Familiarity with messaging/queuing systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Experience working with microservices architectures.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Professional level of English (written and spoken).
