Job summary

iTRTech Group is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure availability, performance, and resilience of cloud-native platforms and customer-facing services in a hybrid Porto setup. The role blends software development and operations with automation and observability at its core.

You will define SLOs/SLIs, work on end-to-end monitoring, and collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Data teams to drive reliability across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, operations, or software development.
• Strong Linux, networking, and distributed systems knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.

Work Model: Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week

About the Opportunity

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in SRE, Systems Engineering, Operations, DevOps, or Full Stack/Software Development.
• Strong understanding of SRE principles and production operations, including on-call support, incident response, and structured incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience with Linux troubleshooting, networking fundamentals, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.
• Experience with CI/CD and automation tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps; familiarity with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience developing backend services with Node.js and NestJS, frontend applications with React and TypeScript, and designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum or Kanban. Preferred: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Associate certifications, Kubernetes certifications, or Infrastructure as Code certifications.
