Job summary

iTRTech Group in Portugal is hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (Mid) for a hybrid Porto-based role. The position requires 3+ years in SRE/DevOps, fluent English, and availability for 2 onsite days per week in Vila Nova de Gaia / Porto.

The salary range is €2100–€2400 gross per month. You will ensure availability, performance, and resilience of cloud-native platforms, implement observability, define SLOs/SLIs/SLAs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and improve production

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of on-call, incident response and change management.
• Experience with Linux and distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and Splunk.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps; IaC with Terraform/Ansible.
• Backend with Node.js/NestJS and frontend with React/TypeScript; REST APIs.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum or Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Ensure platform availability, performance, reliability, and resilience.
• Implement end-to-end observability across distributed systems.
• Define and manage SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs with product teams.
• Investigate bottlenecks, troubleshoot incidents, and automate recovery.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate reliability early in the SDLC.
