BAUF Portugal seeks an experienced HVAC Technical Support Engineer to deliver expert technical support for commercial HVAC equipment across Portugal and EU markets.

You will diagnose faults, assist partners, prepare training materials, and coordinate with service teams and manufacturers to ensure optimal system performance.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience with commercial HVAC or refrigeration equipment.
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycle principles and HVAC operation.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and understand control logic.
• Experience with diagnostic and equipment selection software.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to prepare and deliver technical presentations and training sessions.
• Languages: Portuguese and English.

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support for commercial HVAC equipment across Portugal and EU markets. This position combines strong engineering expertise, partner support, training delivery, and collaboration with service teams and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for commercial HVAC equipment (VRF, Multi-split, LCAC, Chillers) in EU market
• Analyse requests from partners and clients, including fault diagnostics and corrective action recommendations
• Select HVAC equipment using professional selection software; review calculations and system designs
• Develop technical and training documentation
• Conduct webinars, technical training sessions, and on-site seminars
• Manage the full warranty repair process and coordinate with service partners
• Monitor spare parts inventory, oversee logistics, and provide ordering recommendations
• Participate in testing of new models and communicate with the manufacturing plant regarding quality matters
• Support the sales team in preparing technical proposals
