Job summary

Körber seeks a Lead Accounts Receivable Service Delivery leader for Körber GBS Finance. You will own AR operations across countries, guiding an international team and driving standardization and automation of AR and O2C processes.

You will partner with Sales, Project teams, and Finance to improve cash collection, reduce disputes, and enhance customer experience while upholding strict controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, controlling, or a comparable field.
• Several years of leadership experience in Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, or GBS/Shared Services, ideally international.
• Strong AR and O2C process expertise: cash application, dunning, collections, disputes, billing interfaces, month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AR service delivery organization across Körber GBS Finance with ~20 staff.
• Drive standardization, automation, and global harmonization of AR and O2C processes.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Sales, Order Management, project teams, and Finance.

Job description

Lead Accounts Receivable service delivery across Körber GBS Finance, managing an international team while driving AR standardization, automation, strong O2C stakeholder alignment, and sustainable cash and working-capital performance.

Your role in our team

Service Delivery Leadership

• You lead the Accounts Receivable service delivery organization within Körber GBS Finance, taking ownership for reliable, compliant, and customer-oriented AR operations across countries and Körber entities
• You manage a team of approximately 20 employees, ensuring clear governance, consistent service standards, and strong operational performance

Process Standardization & Automation

• Together with Process Owners, GBS Finance, and IT, you professionalize, standardize, and harmonize AR and O2C processes globally, including customer account management, cash application, incoming payment allocation, dunning, collections, dispute management, credit-management interfaces, billing and project-triggered AR interfaces, write-offs, bad-debt related processes, open-item management, and month-end close support
• A key focus is the global harmonization of AR automation, including SAP S/4 requirements, workflow standards, reporting, and controls

Stakeholder Management & O2C Collaboration

• As a senior AR contact for Sales, Key Account Management, Order Management, project teams, service organizations, local Finance, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Process Owners, and IT, you build strong professional relationships and improve end-to-end O2C collaboration
• You drive root-cause resolution for overdue receivables, payment allocation issues, customer disputes, billing interface problems, and unclear account balances to improve cash collection, first-time-right quality, and customer experience

Performance, Controls & Continuous Improvement

• You monitor AR KPIs, service levels, automation rates, cash-in performance, overdue receivables, aging, unapplied cash, dispute resolution, collection effectiveness, and escalation volumes
• Based on these insights, you ensure sustainable remediation of control gaps and inefficiencies rather than short-term fixes

International Team Leadership & Change

• You lead an international team in a matrix organization, balancing global standards with regional business requirements
• You support experienced experts through operating-model and automation change while fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration

Your Profile

• You hold a completed degree in business administration, finance, accounting, controlling, or a comparable field of study
• You bring several years of leadership experience in Accounts Receivable, Order-to-Cash, finance operations, shared services, or GBS, ideally in an international or matrix organization
• You demonstrate strong AR and O2C process expertise, including cash application, incoming payment allocation, dunning, collections, dispute management, customer account management, credit-management interfaces, billing interfaces, project-related receivables, open-item management, month-end close support, internal controls, and reporting
• With practical experience in AR automation solutions and SAP, ideally including SAP S/4 process design or transformation exposure, you are comfortable translating business needs into standard processes, automation requirements, reporting, and scalable controls
• You have proven experience leading international teams, setting consistent standards while respecting regional stakeholder needs, local regulations, and differing process maturities
• As a confident and empathic people manager, you develop experts, build trust across functions, and lead teams through standardization, automation, and change
• You are fluent in English; German or other additional languages are an advantage
• A track record in shaping future-oriented AR or collections operating models, including automation roadmaps, governance, and change management, complements your profile
