Körber in Porto, Portugal is seeking an SAP FI/CO Professional to support the S/4HANA transformation, combining hands-on FI/CO expertise with knowledge across Finance, Controlling, and integrated logistics and sales processes.

You will backfill within the project organization, ensure continuity, and contribute to rollout and post-go-live stabilization, working with FI/CO and integrations across MM, SD, CO in a dynamic multinational environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA FI/CO experience, ideally from transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting and Financial Closing.
• Experience with FI/MM and FI/SD/CO integrations.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work in international teams.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• S/4HANA Implementation & Support: provide FI/CO expertise during rollout, assist fit-gap analyses, testing, data validation and cutover prep.
• Ensure financial processes in the new system reflect business requirements and comply with standards.
• Post-go-live support: resolve incidents, optimize processes, and stabilize the financial landscape.
• Process knowledge across Finance & Logistics: support AP/AR/GL/Asset Accounting and close processes; assist CO activities.
• Cross-functional collaboration: communicate with IT and business stakeholders, train users, and coordinate integrations (MM, SD, CO).
• Operational backfill & continuity: temporarily take over FI/CO tasks to maintain daily operations during transformation.

The SAP FI/CO Professional will play a key role in supporting the Körber OneFinance transformation program. This role combines hands‑on SAP S/4HANA expertise with strong process knowledge across Finance, Controlling, and integrated logistics and sales processes. The ideal candidate brings practical experience in SAP FI/CO within S/4HANA environments, an excellent understanding of core accounting processes, and the ability to provide expert support throughout the rollout and post‑go‑live stabilization.

Acting as a backfill within the project organization, this position ensures operational continuity while contributing to the successful deployment of S/4HANA across the Körber Group.

Your role in our team

S/4HANA Implementation & Support

• You provide hands‑on expertise in SAP FI/CO during the S/4HANA rollout, supporting fit‑gap analyses, testing activities, data validation, and cutover preparation
• You ensure that financial processes in the new system reflect business requirements and adhere to internal and external compliance standards
• You take ownership of post‑go‑live support, including resolving incidents, optimizing processes, and stabilizing the financial landscape after deployment

Process Expertise Across Finance & Logistics

• You bring deep knowledge of end‑to‑end accounting processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and Financial Closing
• You support controlling‑related processes (e.g., cost center accounting, internal orders, basic profitability analysis) and collaborate with CO experts as needed
• You understand key touchpoints between Finance and logistics processes (FI/MM integration for procurement, FI/SD/CO integration for order‑to‑cash) and help ensure seamless E2E process flows

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• As an interface between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, you ensure clear communication and alignment during design, testing, and rollout
• You support business users with training, documentation, and day‑to‑day issue resolution
• You collaborate with workstreams to address process dependencies and coordinate integrations across modules (MM, SD, CO)

Operational Backfill & Business Continuity

• You temporarily take over operational FI/CO tasks to free up internal experts for project activities
• You ensure stable daily operations throughout the S/4HANA transformation
• You help identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, or harmonization under the OneFinance/GBS framework

Your profile

• You hold a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study
• You bring hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA FI/CO, ideally from project or transformational environments
• You have strong expertise in Finance processes (AP, AR, GL, Assets, closing) and good general knowledge of Controlling processes.
• You understand integrated logistics flows, ideally with experience in FI/MM and SD/FI/CO integration
• You are comfortable working in dynamic environments and managing multiple priorities during rollout phases
• With strong communication skills and cultural awareness, you collaborate effectively in international, cross‑functional teams
• You are fluent in English and German skills are a strong advantage
• You bring an analytical, solution‑oriented mindset and enjoy working hands‑on with systems and data
• You are flexible with occasional business travel
• Experience in global or matrix organizations and familiarity with shared services (GBS) is beneficial
