Job summary

Accenture in Portugal seeks a Total Rewards Associate Manager to lead compensation and benefits programs, collaborating with HR, Finance, Legal and payroll. You will shape equitable rewards, deliver market-insight-driven salary structures, and own the annual compensation cycle in scope.

The role requires 5+ years in Total Rewards/Compensation & Benefits, advanced Excel, and fluency in English and Portuguese. Knowledge of pay equity and wellbeing programs is desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Total Rewards/Compensation & Benefits experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business/Finance, or related field.
• Solid knowledge of compensation structures, salary ranges, incentives and benefits plan administration; knowledge of regional labor law and benefits markets.
• Experience with pay equity diagnostics, recognition/wellbeing programs.
• Advanced Excel.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and verbal).
• Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate Total Rewards strategy into Portugal execution plans and roadmaps.
• Provide market intelligence to inform salary structures and benefits portfolio.
• Draft and update guidelines, frameworks, and toolkits (salary ranges, job architecture, eligibility).
• Conduct cost/impact analyses to support policy refinements and budget planning.
• Own end-to-end annual compensation cycle for the assigned scope including tools readiness and data accuracy.
• Administer and optimize benefits programs (medical, life, retirement, wellbeing).
• Coordinate job evaluation and market pricing.
• Maintain policies and guidelines; ensure compliance with labor laws and equal pay.
• Prepare for audits and maintain documentation and controls.
• Build compensation and benefits dashboards for HR/Business Leaders.
• Serve as TR point of contact to resolve escalations and enablement.
• Plan and deliver communications and enablement materials for managers.
• Partner with Talent to embed market-based ranges into offers.
• Establish standard work, SOPs, and drive automation.
