A multinational company is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to join its Finance team in Portugal. You will ensure tax compliance, support planning activities and manage tax matters across operations and investment projects in Portugal.

The role emphasizes Portuguese tax law expertise, with prior experience in construction, EPC, real estate or related project-based sectors. Fluency in English and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Tax.
• Mandatory experience in Construction/EPC/Real Estate/Infrastructure or related project-based sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese tax legislation (CIT, VAT).
• Experience with Transfer Pricing and international tax matters valuable.
• Multinational or international environment experience is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with Portuguese tax legislation and reporting requirements (CIT, VAT, withholding taxes).
• Prepare, review and monitor tax returns and statutory obligations.
• Support tax planning activities, identifying risks and efficiencies.
• Provide tax support on construction projects, EPC contracts and large investments.
• Analyse tax implications of contracts and business operations.
• Assist with Transfer Pricing and intercompany transactions.
• Collaborate on cross-border and international tax matters with internal/external stakeholders.
