KultureTalent - Global Talent seeks a Portuguese Senior Tax Accountant to join our client-focused team in Portugal. The role involves developing compliant tax plans, filing forms, and producing tax reports while meeting strict deadlines.

The ideal candidate has a BSc/BA in Accounting and Finance, fluent English and professional Portuguese, with strong numerical and communication skills to liaise with foreign clients establishing in Portugal.

Qualificações

• BSc/BA in Accounting and Finance or related field.
• Proven work experience as a credible tax accountant with the Portuguese system.
• Professional level of Portuguese and fluent English.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office and accounting programs.
• Thorough understanding of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
• Experience with foreign clients establishing in Portugal.
• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Create the relevant paperwork, reports, payments, and tax returns.
• Analyse and research complex tax problems to find answers.
• Maintain the tax database for the business.
• Identify tax savings and suggest methods to increase profitability.
• Provide information to federal, state, and local authorities as required.
• Assist and direct during audits.
• Analyse tax laws and recommend measures to reduce burden.
• Observe market developments and tax-related changes.
• Ensure quarterly and yearly tax reports are accurate.
• Supervise and lead other team members as assigned.
