EY Portugal is seeking a motivated Manager to join its Business Tax Compliance team in Lisbon. You will lead multiple tax compliance projects for domestic and multinational clients, harnessing technical rigor and strategic thinking to deliver compliant, value-adding solutions.

You will identify new opportunities, manage client expectations, and mentor teams while staying current on tax trends. A degree in Tax or Economics and 4+ years in tax are required; English proficiency is essential.

Qualificações

• Academic Degree in Tax, Economics or similar fields of study, mainly in reference university.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in Tax Compliance.
• Background in consulting environment, mainly in Big4 or Second Tier companies, is valued.
• Easy interaction and special acumen for its use on tax processes.
• Experience in team management.
• Some experience in business commercial development.
• Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments.
• Full English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Manage multiple technical and advisory Tax Compliance projects to a wide range of domestic and global clients.
• Identify and develop new strategic business opportunities.
• Manage timings and expectations with customers.
• Deliver quality deliverables/solutions using general Tax Compliance knowledge and contribute to profitable growth by ensuring client engagements are executed efficiently through process optimization and technology.
• Advise local and multinational companies to align their tax compliance with business strategy.
• Ensure submission of corporate tax obligations (IRC, IVA, IRS, IMI, etc) and other compliance/reporting obligations (COPE & CBCR).
• Stay abreast of current tax, legal and business trends relevant to the client's business.
• Contribute to the team’s productivity and motivation through good communication and cooperation.
