Hitachi Energy is seeking a project engineer to strengthen our Substation Automation team within Hub Europe. You will be responsible for the control & protection scope of substation automation projects worldwide, coordinating with the project manager, SCADA engineer and customer to ensure successful delivery.

You will contribute to testing, commissioning, and development of protection and control concepts, travel within Portugal, and collaborate with a global engineering community to advance

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years in a control & protection engineer role.
• Strong communication and customer interface skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with multi-tasking ability.

Aufgaben

• Execute the control & protection scope for substation automation projects globally, including hardware/software/testing.
• Develop protection and control concepts with the project core team and customer collaboration.
• Coordinate with project manager, SCADA engineer and client to ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Obtain approvals for commissioning activities and ensure safety and integrity are upheld.
