AgileEngine, a remote-first company, is proactively building a strategic talent pool for high-priority Shopify Plus projects launching in the coming months. You will architect, develop, and maintain high‑performance eCommerce solutions for leading brands, collaborating with senior engineers and shaping platform roadmap strategy.

The role emphasizes understanding the platform's why, deep code analysis, code reviews, and secure, scalable delivery.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of Shopify development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Shopify Plus and its features.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and modern development practices.
• Experience with page performance optimization, caching, CDNs, and secure coding.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; customer-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with Jira and collaborative development environments.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Develop key system components and optimize delivery times.
• Perform deep code analysis, patches, and new platform features.
• Research platform capabilities and contribute to the eCommerce roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product Management on design and capabilities.
• Provide Shopify technical support and conduct incident postmortems.
• Participate in code reviews and unit testing.
• Ensure security and performance best practices across the team.
• Assist Project Management with effort estimates and planning.
• Identify and remove technical roadblocks.
